Vishwaroopam II

Vishwaroopam II is an upcoming Tamil spy thriller film being written and directed Kam al Haasan. It is the sequel to Vishwaroopam (2013) and stars Kamal Haasan, Rahul Bose, Pooja Kumar and Andrea Jeremiah reprising their roles from the original. While the first film was set in the United States, Vishwaroopam II will take place in India. Produced by Venu Ravichandran in Tamil, the film is also being produced by Ekta Kapoor and Shobha Kapoor in Hindi as Vishwaroop II The film is in its post-production stage and is slated for a late-2013 release. The Tamil version of the film is to be dubbed into Telugu as Viswaroopam II.

Vettai Mannan

Vettai Mannan is an upcoming Tamil action-thriller film written and directed by debutante director Nelson.The film will feature Jai, Silambarasan, Hansika Motwani,and Deeksha Seth in lead roles. It is produced by S. S. Chakravarthy and features background score and soundtrack composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja. The film is under production and is slated to release in 2013.

Veeram

Veeram is an upcoming Tamil action masala film directed by Siva and produced by Vijaya Productions. The film features Ajith Kumar and Tamannaah in the lead roles, while an ensemble supporting cast includes Vidharth, Santhanam, Pradeep Rawat and Abhinaya amongst others. Pre-production work has been ongoing since December 2011, with the shoot ultimately starting in April 2013. The film is release on Tamilar Thirunaal Pongal Jan 15 2014.

Nimirndhu Nil

Nimirndhu Nil is an upcoming Indian Tamil action-thriller film written and directed by Samuthirakani featuring Jayam Ravi and Amala Paul in the lead roles.The film is being produced by KS Sreenivasan's Vaasan Visual Ventures who earlier produced films like Naan Kadavul and Boss Engira Bhaskaran.The film's soundtrack and background score were composed by G. V. Prakash Kumar. Ravi plays a revolutionist for a social cause. The film is simultaneously being made in Telugu as Janda Pai Kapiraju with Nani replacing Jayam Ravi.

Madha Gaja Raja

Madha Gaja Raja (M.G.R) is an upcoming 2013 Tamil Masala film directed by Sundar C. It stars Vishal, Anjali and Varalaxmi Sarathkumar in the leading roles, while Prakash Raj and Nithin Sathya play other pivotal supporting roles. Varalaxmi has been brought in replacement of Taapsee,as the latter had some date issues. It received 'U' cerficate from Central Board of Film Certification.

Malini 22 Palayamkottai

Malini 22 Palayamkottai is an upcoming bilingual film written and directed by Sripriya. It stars Nithya Menen in the title role while Krish J. Sathaar and Naresh play supporting roles.A remake of the Malayalam film 22 Female Kottayam by Aashiq Abu, the film will feature musical score by Arvind-Shankar and is currently in its production stage.Malini 22 will be release in Tamil and Telugu

Kochadaiyaan

Kochadaiiyaan is an upcoming Tamil period film directed by Soundarya R. Ashwin and written by K. S. Ravikumar. The film will feature Rajinikanth in three roles alongside R. Sarathkumar, Aadhi, Deepika Padukone, Shobana, Rukmini Vijayakumar, Jackie Shroff and Nassar. The film, which is expected to be shot with motion capture in 3D, will have cinematography handled by Rajiv Menon whilst background score and soundtrack will be composed by A. R. Rahman. The film will be simultaneously released in Telugu (as Vikrama Simha).and dubbed in Malayalam and English.and will also be released in Hindi and Japanese. As of 2012, Italian and Spanish versions of the film have also been announced.[ Shooting for the film was finished by the end of February 2013, and post-production works are currently going on at London, Hong Kong, Los Angeles and mostly China. Originally spelled as Kochadaiyaan, the film was renamed (with an extra "i") for numerological reasons. The film is expected to be released on 10 January 2014
